Candid Surry-Phillips

Master Cosmetologist/Nail Technician

Candid is an Army veteran from Augusta, GA. She was introduced to the beauty industry while her mom was a beauty pageant contestant in the 1980s.  While in middle school, she, her sister  and her cousin would practice different hairstyles on each other at their grandmother's house.

After her Army career, she attended Augusta Tech's cosmetology program from 2017-2018 to enhance her skills for hair care and styling.  She became a licensed Master Cosmetologist in 2018 to pursue her goal to work in a full service salon and spa, as she had grown an interest in nail technology and esthetics.

Candid has an Advanced Nail Technology certificate, to service elderly and chronically ill clients with a referral from medical providers.  She also enjoys doing natural hair styles and facials.
